Fluorite on Galena

Item Description

A huge, hefty specimen of galena matrix COVERED with gemmy, pastel-green crystals of fluorite. The fluorite crystals are to 2 inches, 5 cm. They are VERY transparent, deeply gemmy so that you can see into them to the matrix an inch or so underneath. The coverage is all around the specimen, 360-degrees, up and over all sides. (NOTE THIS IS GLASSIER IN PERSON, than the photos can convey). A beautiful accent of jet-black sphalerite crystals hangs on one side. Out of this whole large specimen (1.5 kilos!), there are only a few very small digs on the periphery and one tiny cleave that is hard to spot. Otherwise it is pristine.
