Unusually lustrous, very cool looking and interesting, 4.0 cm doubly terminated fluorite octahedron with striking CURVED, stepped-growth faces. The translucent crystal is a rich purple in normal light, but backlighting reveals a beautiful violet hue. The crystal is aesthetically set ont he undulating sculptural drusy quartz matrix with massive green and purple fluorite below. Modest purple fluorescence. This very showy, unusual habit fluorite combination is from the well-known De'an Fluorite Mine, which has produced a suprising variety of fluorite crystal forms and colors.
