Fluorite on Fluorite (2022 find)

Expressive, colorful and contrasting fluorite on fluorite small cabinet from a 2022 find at this less well-known Chinese locale in Zhejiang Province, China. Three, striking, golden honey-yellow, translucent, wet-luster fluorite botryoids are attractively set on the zoned purple and green fluorite matrix with contrasting coatings of white fluorite. The nubby botryoids are actually intergrown octahedrons with unusual curved, stepped-growth, triangular faces. All three botryoids are pristine and the large one is 2.7 cm across. Two shades of purple LW UV fluorescence. A fascinating and pretty specimen.
