Item Description
Unusual combination piece from the famous Erongo Mountains. The Fluorite crystal, 2.1 cm across, is the rare root beer color, and it has a silky luster. The Fluorite rests atop a very distinctive, zoned Feldspar that has three definitive layers. The 2.8 cm Feldspar, which fluoresces red, has Muscovite, Schorl (slender to blocky crystals), and Hayalite Opal along its surface. Maybe not glamorous, but this is an exemplary combination piece. Aesthetic in it's own way, with many of the important Erongo species on one at-first-ugly piece.
