Fluorite on etched Microcline

Item Description

A beautiful small cabinet specimen featuring a few sharp, lustrous, rather gemmy, cubes (with small octahedral modifications on the corners) of Fluorite measuring up to 2.2 cm on etched cream colored microcline matrix. There is a beautiful mix of color zoning that can be seen in the Fluorites showing a combination of pastel green, blue and purple hues. The coloring looks different from indoor lighting to sunlight, as is often the case with Fluorite. I love overall balance and aesthetics of the piece, and it displays very well on its own without the aid of a base or clay.
