Fluorite on Dolomite

Elmwood has produced what are arguably some of the most recognizable Fluorite specimens in the world. This is a three-dimensional piece featuring sharp, well formed, gemmy, purple Fluorite crystals with contrasting rhombic white Dolomite on matrix. The lustrous cubic crystals have the classic look with an outer purple zone and micro stepped growth on the cubic faces. The display side is mostly free of damage, though the crystal in back is cleaved out of view. The piece has a nice blend of varying sized isolated crystals, the large cube measuring 2.3 cm, that stand out individually but still combine to provide a highly aesthetic presentation. This cute and delightful classic Fluorite specimen has a wonderful look and would be a great addition to any collection. For the size, it is very aesthetic.
