A rare and highly unusual combination specimen from Mt. Blanc, and the well-known Herb Obodda Fluorite Collection (sold in the late 90s). Highly unusual, rounded, fluorite cuboctahedrons are richly set in an angular vug of rare, extremely flattened, calcite rhombs. The habit is not one we normally see at this locale. The lustrous, translucent, fluorite crystals, to 1.0 cm, are pretty pastel-pink and have lightly frosted faces. All of the many fluorites are pristine. Choice, very rare and unusual combination material from this renowned locale. Valued by Herb at $500, five or more years ago when it came back into his stock.
