Item Description

Incredibly complex, intergrown, very glassy fluorite crystals composed of modifications of the octahedron form, rest on bursts of milky dogtooth calcite crystals. The intensely stepped-growth fluorites are colorless to shades of pastel-green to purple. There are difficult to see, striking, gem, cuboctahedrons on the corners of the octahedrons. A few, rare, apparently paper barite blades are noted at the base of the fluorites and elsewhere. Fluorites are relatively rare from Pachapaqui and came out only in the late 1980s. Bright purple and orange fluorescence. Rare, showy and excellent combination material from the Art Soregaroli Collection. Value?? MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
