Fluorite on ''Baveno'' Twinned Microcline

An attractive display specimen from the granite deposits in Strzegom featuring a sharp, well-formed, purple cubic crystal of Fluorite measuring 7 mm, associated with many smaller little purple cubes, PLUS an few unusually pale greenish colored Fluorite crystals, which are sitting among many sharp well-formed soft pink "Baveno"-twinned crystals of Microcline along with minor richly colored Smoky Quartz. It's quite rare in my experience to find two distinctly different colors of Fluorite together on the same specimen like this piece. Very good quality, no major damage, and really eye-catching. Classic and fairly hard to find material on the market.
From the collection of Kurt Hefendehl (#14 PL), a well-known German collector all over Europe with worldwide contacts to dealers and collectors. He started collecting seriously at the age of 14 and his great and varied worldwide collection reached over 6000 pieces. He was very active mineralogically until shortly before his passing in 2020 at the age of 82. Considering his collection had a large number of pieces, it still had an unusually high standard of quality from most worldwide localities. He particularly specialized in all classics as well as minerals of the Black Forest, where he spent much time collecting. His Black Forest and German subcollections went to his good friend Wolfgang Wendel.
