Item Description

A hard to find Fluorite and Amethyst association from the famous locality in Unaweep Canyon. Most often, people are used to seeing just green Fluorite from this locality, but the most desirable association is to have beautiful purple Amethyst with the Fluorite. This attractive cabinet sized display specimen features highly modified complex groups of soft green Fluorite which are coating very lustrous, sharp, gemmy light purple Amethyst crystals which are sitting on a layer of rich blue green uncrsystallized Fluorite. One does not see much Fluorite with Amethyst from Colorado, and Unaweep Canyon is arguably the most well known spot in Colorado for the material.
