Fluorite (old style - 1990s)

This specimen features cubes of gemmy and bright, light green fluorite crystals, to 3.8 cm in length, that are characteristic of very old material that first came to market in the 1990s, with a special look to the modified cubic edges (they are beveled). More rare: They have a mix of glassy faces and also exhibit faces that are partially frosted ; and this combination of gemmy and frosted faces on the same crystal adds incredible depth to these fluorites and draws the eye into the centers of the crystals when you look at it. For such an old specimen, from back in the early days of China exports, this is in remarkable condition - complete alla round, and 360 degrees. You find yourself staring into it, just turning it around slowly. A superb old Chinese mineral. From the Keith Williams Collection of miniatures and small cabinet specimens - Keith was a well known dealer and collector for decades before retiring recently.
