Item Description

Glassy, translucent to transparent, pretty variable purple, intergrown fluorite cubes to a large 4.1 cm form a showy and impressive old-time specimen from the historic mines of County Durham. In great shape overall, with just a touch of edge wear to the two large cubes. Super fluorescence, as you would expect. The piece displays well without aid. Ex Bob Whitmore Collection.
