Item Description

Translucent, strikingly and densely stepped-growth, drusy purplish-gray fluorite cubes over massive green fluorite form a dramatic and uncommon specimen from this old district. MINDAT does not list fluorite in the ancient lead mining district at Freihung, nor is there a Grube Kallmunzer listed. Most likely from this old fluorite mining district. The periphery is certainly a modest detraction to this old-timer. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Purple fluorescence.
