Item Description
A very fine and aesthetic Riemvasmaak combination miniature. The gemmy, rich green octahedrons, to 2.0 cm, are elegantly perched on the drusy quartz covered matrix. The octos are pristine, front and back. The drusy quartz covers a thin layer of green fluorite (fluorescent) and is underlain by purple fluorite (not fluorescent). The octo gemminess is very high for the locale and the luster is very good. Mark my words, these are contemporary classics. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! SOMEDAY, we will look back on these the way we do now for Illinois fluorites of 10-20 years ago even, and wonder why they were so darned cheap, mark my words. Super purple fluorescence. A most excellent combination valued at $500-750 and well worth it.
