Item Description
Matrix Riemvasmaak fluorite specimens are just not that common and aesthetic ones are rather rare. That being said, this very showy and excellent, 360-degree piece (very rare in itself) features a corsage-like cluster of gemmy and lustrous, unique grass-green fluorite octahedrons beautifully wrapped around most of a sharply terminated quartz crystal. The largest octo is 1.3 cm and they are very nearly pristine, with only the trivial, barely noticeable bruising in a couple of spots. The trivial bruising to the quartz termination is also barely noticeable. The color is INTENSE, deep green, very nice! Mark my words, these are contemporary classics. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! SOMEDAY, we will look back on these the way we do now for Illinois fluorites of 10-20 years ago even, and wonder why they were so darned cheap, mark my words. Valued at $750. A very fine and aesthetic matrix specimen.
