Item Description

These gemmy and lustrous William Wise Mine octahedrons have a distinctive, beautiful geen color, not matched by any other locality. These classic octos are cleavages, which are on the back. OLD-TIME material dating to the early mining period from the 1890s to about 1919, as they come with an old faded George English Collection label. This label dates from 1905-1913. Historic fluorite specimens - of which few survive from the old days at this classic locale. Ex Larry Krause Collection.
