Item Description
Lustrous, translucent, light mint-green, fluorite octahedrons are aesthetically clustered and are strikingly preferentially accented with drusy quartz on this showy and excellent specimen from the famous Xianghualing Mine of China. The octos are frosted and have extreme stepped-growth faces. The striking large octo is 4.8 x 4.0 x 3.9 cm and is doubly terminated. Very modest corner wear and scuffing are noted, but this remains a fine, highly representative example of the species and noted locale. Purple fluorescence. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
