Item Description
A stunning, sculptural, large, fluorite specimen from the recent, very highly touted finds at Riemvasmaak, South Africa. Gemmy and lustrous, unique grass-green fluorite octahedrons are aesthetically stacked and clustered on this super, two-sided, elongate rib. The largest octo is 2.5 cm. This dramatic specimen is very nearly pristine, with only periphery wear at the ends. The base has hints of purple fluorite. Very fairly valued at $2000-2500, for dramatic quality and size. Mark my words, these are contemporary classics. The color is INTENSE, deep green, very impressive on this piece! This is definitely one of the very best Riemvasmaak fluorites we have offered at auction. Pieces of this quality are normally in the Gallery. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
