Item Description
The Rock Candy Mine is a classic Canadian locale, well-known for fluorite specimens. Sea-green, translucent, fluorite octahedrons have lightly frosted faces with moderate luster. Two-toned, nubby drusy quartz covers many other octos and the most of the massive fluorite matrix on this showy and excellent large plate. The striking large and pristine octo is 2.8 cm on the diagonal. This is fine and colorful combination example from this locale and the bit of periphery wear is certainly a modest detraction. Classic Rock Candy material. Bright fluorescence! Ex Trimingham Collection and obtained in 1968.
