Item Description
An aesthetic and sculptural small cabinet cluster of intergrown fluorite octahedrons from the famous Wise Mine. The gemmy and lustrous crystals have rich mint-green color with a hint of blue. The frosted, lightly etched faces with some stepped-growth add character to this artistic piece. The dominating large octo is 3.5 cm. Periphery wear on the sides has minimal impact to the quality of this piece. These can be strongly minimized in the best display views. Wise Mine fluorites are a US classic and this is an excellent small cabinet. Rich purple fluorescence. Ex David Burgess Collection, for whom Burgessite is named.
