Item Description
A sculptural plate of sharp fluorite octahedrons from the recent, very highly touted finds at Riemvasmaak, South Africa. The gemmy and lustrous, unique grass-green fluorite octahedrons are aesthetically stacked atop each other. The largest octo is 4.0 cm and the fabulous, isolated octo at one end is 2.2 cm (with a lightly dinged tip). Both sides are partially contacted, but there is little actual damage. The color is INTENSE, deep green, very nice! These are contemporary classics. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! SOMEDAY, we will look back on these the way we do now for Illinois fluorites of 10-20 years ago even, and wonder why they were so darned cheap, mark my words.
