Item Description
A dramatic, 3.8 cm, sharp fluorite octahedron with a striking stepped-growth frontal face is elegantly perched upright on fluorite matrix and is aesthetically accented with smaller octos lined up on one side from the recent, very highly touted finds at Riemvasmaak, South Africa. This imposing gemmy and lustrous, unique grass-green fluorite is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only one of the multiple terminations to the large octo being gently bruised. This is definitely a very fine large miniature from this find and displays beautifully from either side! The color is INTENSE, deep green, very nice! Mark my words, these are contemporary classics. Fairly valued at $1000. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! SOMEDAY, we will look back on these the way we do now for Illinois fluorites of 10-20 years ago even, and wonder why they were so darned cheap, mark my words
