Item Description
A classic, sharp, rose-red, fluorite octahedron is aesthetically accented with pearlescent, blocky orthoclase variety adularia crystals on this showy and excellent combination from the famous Mont Blanc area at Chamonix. The translucent, lustrous crystal has frosted faces. Complete all-around and essentially a pristine floater. The nifty double (actually quadruple) termination is pristine and the adularia is on a corner. The other four terminations are contacted, but there is no damage, per se. It GLOWS hot pink, when backlit. Interestingly, no fluorescence. Ex Ken Rippere Collection. Value??
