Item Description
Tongbei is known almost exclusively for its fine spessartine, smoky quartz and feldspar combinations - but rarely, it produces fluorites too. This one is really striking, in that you have a single, isolated, 2.0 cm, perfect octahedral crystal perched right on a thin crust of matrix and next to two striking quartz crystals, that have a goethite coating followed by a sparkling drusy quartz coating! The very glassy octo is transparent to translucent and has green and red inclusions. Rare and hard to find in this quality and combination!
