Fluorite octahedron on Amethyst (rare combo)

A gorgeous, unique green, 2.7 cm, gemmy and lustrous, fluorite octahedron with frosted faces is beautifully set on the RARE plate of amethyst crystals on this very aesthetic plate from Riemvasmaak. Scattered preferential coatings of sparkly oxide-tinted drusy quartz on the amethysts are a fine accent. The octo is nearly pristine, with only a gently bruised tip, which is certainly only a modest detraction to this elegant and VERY RARE combination. Purple fluorescence. These are contemporary classics with little new material recovered lately.
