Fluorite octahedron (New Find)

An aesthetic and striking fluorite specimen from the recent, very highly touted finds at Riemvasmaak, South Africa. A 3.0 x 2.9 x 3.0 cm, sharp, gemmy and lustrous, unique grass-green fluorite octahedron is very jaunitly perched on a larger fluorite crystal. This dramatic octahedron is nearly pristine, with barely noticeable termination edge wear and one trivially bruised corner. This is defintely one of the very best miniatures, that we have offered at auction. These are contemporary classics and the piece displays well without aid. The color is INTENSE, deep green, very nice!
