A pristine, 3.0 cm, doubly terminated fluorite octahedron is beautifully set on quartz matrix on this very aesthetic combination from recent finds at Riemvasmaak. The gemmy and lustrous crystal has the unique green color and shimmering, stepped-growth faces the locality is renowned for. Bright purple fluorescence. For the size, this is very fine piece. These are contemporary classics. Very little new material has come out recently. Valued at $1250-1500 and worth it.
