Fluorite octahedron (classic locale & fluorescent)

Chamonix pink fluorites are a European classic and this is a very fine example. A lustrous, tranlsucent, lightly frosted and etched, rich rose-pink, fluorite octahedron is aesthetically set in granular quartz matrix on this showy and excellent miniature. The pristine octo is 3.2 cm wide x 3.0 cm tall x 2.6 cm wide. It displays beautifully from two directions. Moderate purple fluorescence which we had not expected nor seen in such specimens. Valued at $2000-2500. This is a chance to get a superb European classic fluorite type at a bargain price.
