Item Description

The vast majority of Spanish Fluorites are cubic in habit, but the specimens from the Berta Quarry are textbook octahedrons, indicative of them forming at a higher temperature. This is a lovely small cabinet specimen of the classic, well known vivid blue-green Fluorites with crystals measuring up to 8 mm. The green color is also unusual as Spanish Fluorites (mostly from Asturias) are typically blue or purple. For the size the color is fairly saturated, as you don't often see Fluorites this size with such a strong hue. Good quality overall, and hard to find on the market now. Don't miss out if you're a Fluorite collector.
