Sensational, 3-color, 3-generation large fluorite plate from a New Find from the fluorite deposits in this less well-known area of China - Yiwu, Zhejiang. Dense fields of stunning, beautiful, lavender-pink, lustrous, translucent octahedron very attractive cover much of the piece. The large octahedron is 1.1 cm, with the rest being 5 mm long or less. Gorgeous, thick and juicy, rich yellow fluorite is next. The yellow fluorite is very interesting, in that they are translucent, rounded clusters of intergrown octahedrons! The base of the plate is composed of massive to banded, mostly purple fluorite with green and colorless banding. The yellow fluorite has a nice warm GLOW, when backlit. The dark purple fluorite has purple LW UV fluorescence with the yellow and lavender pink fluorite having modest purple LW UV fluorescence. 945 grams or 2.1 pounds mass. Remarkable, most colorful and unusual 3-generation fluorite from this Chinese locale.
