Fluorite (multi-colored crystal) on Quartz

This locality in Inner Mongolia has been an impressive Fluorite-producer for many years, giving collectors a varied mix of specimens in wide range of colors and styles/habits. This piece is a beautiful small cabinet display specimen hosts an isolated cubic crystal showing attractive green, blue, and pinkish-purple hues when backlit, aesthetically perched atop a single prismatic colorless Quartz crystal. The Fluorite has a frosted appearance on the surface, but when backlit, the colors (and "phantom" zoning") can be seen fairly easily. No major damage on the front/display side, but it does have a couple cleaved faces on the back. It's fairly rare to find a single Fluorite crystal this size perched on a Quartz crystal like this, and the fact that it's colorful and showy makes it all the more desirable.
