Item Description

The Okorusu Mine is hands down of the most prolific operating localities in the world for Fluorite. I've seen virtually every shade of Fluorite - including colorless and black - from this mine, which when combined with superb quality of the crystals makes for some truly impressive specimens. This piece is from a discovery dating back several years and features superb, sharp, gemmy, multicolor cubic crystals measuring up to 2.3 cm on edge. The crystals feature classic purple, blue and green hues, When backlit, the crystals are really attractive, and some feature lovely internal "phantoms". Good quality and no major damage to the front/display side of the piece.
