Item Description

Some of the most colorful and highly displayable Fluorite specimens in the world have come from the famous Okorusu Mine. This locality is not only prolific in terms of the size and quality of its Fluorites, but it has produced specimens in virtually every color of the rainbow (including black and colorless). This cabinet sized piece is from a discovery about 10 years ago and features a group of razor-sharp, lustrous, VERY gemmy, cubic crystals measuring up to 1.2 cm on edge which show classic internal "phantoms" with a mix of blue, purple and magenta hues inside. Associated white, prismatic Quartz crystals and tan colored Calcite can be seen here and there for a great accent of contrasting color. Virtually all of the crystals are in fine condition on the display side, and it's even partially crystallized on the back. Valued at $1,250 in the inventory.
