Fluorite (multi-color "phantom" crystals)

Fluorites from the Okorusu Mine are among the finest and most colorful examples of the species around the world. I honestly can say without fear of contradiction that every color of the rainbow has been seen in Okorusu Fluorites, including colorless and black. The crystals themselves are most typically large textbook cubes, but there are stepped modifications on the corners, giving them a cuboctahedral apperance. With a bit of backlighting, you can clearly see beautiful internal "phantoms" and color zoning. This particular specimen came out in the early 2010s and hosts many superb quality, very sharp, VERY GEMMY, multicolor cubic crystals measuring up to 1.8 cm on matrix. With a bit of backlighting you will see the crystals contain excellent internal "phantoms" with a mixture of intense purple, blue, green and even magenta hues. Some of the crystals are essentially WATER CLEAR, and you can see directly through them to the matrix underneath. I can see a few small imperfections on the front / display side of the piece, and it's obviously and forgivably incomplete on the back where it was removed from the pocket wall, but it's great condition all around. This is a fine quality example of this modern classic material and will make a really nice addition to any collection. Priced at $1,200 in the inventory.
