Item Description
A beautiful, very sharp, SUPER-GEMMY, multi-colored, cubic phantomed crystal group from what is the only Fluorite mine in Morocco! Despite the fact that the back of the piece is contacted, it is still very showy and eye-catching on the display side. A few sharp, lustrous, doubly-terminated accenting Quartz crystals and small metallic Pyrite spheroids on the front of the piece make for a GREAT touch. This mine has produced a great range of colors of Fluorite specimens over the years, and this particular piece has a beautiful golden-honey color throughout most of the specimen with some silvery-blue edges that grade into nearly colorless on the extreme outer portions of the cubes. A great Fluorite display piece from this somewhat obscure Fluorite locality. I'm told that the Fluorites from this mine have an unsually high REE (rare earth element) content, which might explain the wide range of colors.
