Item Description

A striking and beautiful fluorite cube from the less well-known Rosiclare District of Illinois. The translucent, very glassy and highly lustrous crystal has rich grape purple color, dramatic, dense, stepped-growth faces and nifty, darker purple edge phantoms. The three presentation faces have only very trivial edgewear and is certainly not a detraction. Classic and very fine older material from this noted locale. Ex Mullane Collection.
