Fluorite

La Viesca has produced a color palette of fine fluorites over several decades but finally, sadly, closed in October of 2021. From now on, there will be no more. This brilliantly sparkling specimen of fluorite features glassy clear cubes to 2 cm on edge (the largest) with a brilliant, wet-looking luster. We simply cannot capture the clarity and luster combination by photo, but video seems to work well. However, it is MORE sparkling in person. The large display face in the front is mostly complete, and very beautiful, with just a few small spots of damage (small cleaves to corners here and there at edges, not detracting). There is wear around the sides and bottom periphery, but again this does not detract at a certain price and given the size and other features here. It sits on its own for easy display. This once productive locale is dead going forwards, barring a few dump finds maybe. Donated for the benefit of the MR by Jordi Fabre of Barcelona, Spain.
