Excellent and dramatic spinel twin Fluorite from the famous Erongo Mountains. This is the largest example of this rare twinning habit from here that we have seen! This very light watery-green crystal is completely gemmy, and has very good luster with surfaces that are transparently frosted. The crystal is contacted where it grew, but actually IS complete and terminated. There are a few deep purple 'feathers' along one side of the crystal. Certainly, one of the best and the largest spinel twin Fluorites I have seen from here. Valued highly as a superb African fluorite, subtle but fine, $1500 or more
