Item Description
An impressive and aesthetic cluster of large fluorite octahedrons from the famed Pasto Bueno district. The very glassy, translucent octos, to 6.5 cm, have pretty light seafoam-green interiors and fascinating multiple overgrowth layers of lighter green and colorless fluorite. Many faces have striking colorless stepped-growth and two faces have nifty skeletal overgrowth. Adding pizzazz, the 'B' side has embedded lustrous, dark wine-red hubnerite crystals, to 1.4 cm, and a single, 3.4 cm, doubly terminated and pristine quartz at the base. Complete all-around and in great shape, overall. Pristine, except for the contacting on one end, which is certainly only a very minimal detraction to this striking and excellent large fluorite from the Art Soregaroli Collection. These are notably large crystals for the locale. Bright purple fluorescence. Valued at $1500.
