Item Description
Auglaize quarry produced fluorites with unique qualities of color and flashing iridescence, some say due to oil and petroleum inclusions. The best and most interesting, unique in all the world, are these that have the contrast of two colors: deep purple crystals on the brown, iridescent crystals below. This specimen is typical and representative of Auglaize material. The largest crystals is 1.2 cm, although it is missing a corner. The fine isolated crystal is 1 cm.
