Item Description
An attractive display specimen from the famous Yaogangxian Mine featuring several sharp, lustrous, crystals of Fluorite with grey inclusions of fibrous Jamesonite with GEMMY, colorless "dogtooth"-shaped Calcite crystals. The largest Fluorite crystal measures 1.5 cm across. The habit is primarily cubic, but you can see thin dodecahedral modifications along the edges. When backlit, the Fluorites show a bit of translucency, but they have a dense amount of Jamesonite in them, about as rich as I've seen from the locale. Very little damage, are certainly worth adding to any suite of Fluorites or Chinese minerals.
