Fluorite included with Chalcopyrite

Item Description

A classic specimen from the famous Cave-in-Rock Subdistrict in Southern Illinois. Sharp, well-formed, rich purple colored cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 1.3 cm on edge highlight the display side of the specimen. If you look closely, you can see a few tiny golden metallic Chalcopyrite crystals sitting atop the Fluorites, but with some backlighting, you can see many more Chalcopyrites frozen INSIDE of the Fluorite crystals. There are certainly dozens of little Chalcos suspended inside the Fluorite cubes, creating a beautiful effect. The piece is in good condition for the most part, but there are some rough edges and nicks that can be seen with the naked eye, so it's not completely pristine.
