Fluorite included Quartz

From a find around late 2004, these stones were one of the few "new sensations" at the Tucson Show in early 2005, especially as new finds were so scarce that year in general. We EXPECTED to see more at Denver 2005 but there were none to be had...they have NOT FOUND ANOTHER worthwhile POCKET SINCE! This is a great stone for the find , and rich with purple-blue, octahedral Fluorite crystals included inside the colorless "Emerald" cut Quartz. I was told that the Fluorites grew on the face of the quartz crystals at some point during their development in the pocket, and were later engulfed as the quartz continued its growth. These are certainly the most interesting Fluorite inclusions we have seen in any gemstones, and if you're a collector of unusual material, be sure to pick this one up. Even though Fluorite and Quartz and not rare minerals, I would consider this a RARE gem!
