Fluorite in Quartz pocket

Item Description

Attractive Quartz lined pocket on matrix with two translucent mint-green Fluorite crystals perched and protected within, contrasting nicely with a sparkling background. The Fluorites, up to 4.1 cm across, have a modified cubic habit with glassy lustrous square faces that give way to softer highly textured large bevelled faces. The bevelled edges have a chatoyant quality to them. The sparkling white micro Quartz surfaces are undulating creating some visual movement and three dimensionality to the piece. It is in excellent condition with the pocket protecting the Fluorites. A beautiful specimen that has an artistic look! Ex. Kurt Hefendehl collection.
