A very aesthetic and surprising fluorite combination miniture from this now famous locale. A beautiful, 4.2 cm, unique green, gemmy and lustrous, doubly terminated octahedron with lightly frosted/etched faces is artistically surrounded quartz crystals and quartz crystal sections. The striking large quartz crystal "guard" is 3.5 cm tall. Rich purple fluorite fluorescence, as you would expect. BUT, SW UV light shows the quartz is covered with a thin, virtually invisible coating of hyalite opal, that lights up neon-green! Choice and excellent material. These are now considered to be contemporary classics. Valued at $600-800.
