Item Description
A strikingly sculptural two-sided combination specimen with sharp fluorite octahedrons from the recent, very highly touted finds at Riemvasmaak, South Africa. The gemmy and lustrous, unique grass-green fluorite octahedrons are aesthetically set in the quartz crystal wall. The largest octo is 1.4 cm. Both sides look great and the octos are pristine. The color is INTENSE, deep green, very nice! These are contemporary classics. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! SOMEDAY, we will look back on these the way we do now for Illinois fluorites of 10-20 years ago even, and wonder why they were so darned cheap, mark my words. The opal fluoresces neon-green under SW UV. Valued at $1000-1250.
