Item Description

Intergrown, lustrous, transparent to translucent, rich golden-amber fluorite cubes to 3.3 cm form an aesthetic and excellent plate from this historic old mining district. Yellow fluorite is uncommon from the Czech side of the Erzgebirge. Pristine. Probably old-time material, but no proof. Purple fluorescence. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. This could be from the German side of the Erzgebirge.
