Fluorite (GEMMY ''Spinel''-twin with multiple moving water bubble inclusions) (ex Dave Bergman Collection)

A fine quality and beautiful specimen of Fluorite from the Siglo XX (Twentieth Century) Mine at Naica. You don't see many specimens specifically listed from this locality, so it's nice to have a definite origination for this piece. This specimen is a wonderful "Spinel"-twinned crystal of GEMMY, colorless Fluorite with beautiful form. The piece is crystallized all around, with no major damage that I can find. The cherry on top for this piece is that it features rarely seen MOVABLE WATER BUBBLE inclusions.  With a loupe I found FIVE different bubbles inside the piece, and a few of them move when the piece is rotated.  We've done our best to illustrate the water bubbles in the photos/video, but obviously it's best seen in person. If you're a fan of worldwide Fluorites, "enhydro" minerals, or specimens from Naica / Mexico, this is a fantastic old piece dating back to the 1970s for your collection. Valued at $1,200. Dave is now retired, but among other things, he was the foreman and primary person in charge of recovering specimens at the famous Sweet Home Mine near Alma, Colorado during the late 1970s.
