Fluorite (GEMMY phantoms) on Dolomite

Item Description

A classic association specimen from Shangbao featuring a pair of clusters of VERY gemmy, sharp, lustrous, green and purple fluorite crystals sitting on a matrix of cream-colored Dolomite rhombs on matrix. These fine quality Fluorites crystals show beautiful internal "phantoms" with smooth broad cube faces, and excellent internal clarity. The piece is in excellent shape all the way around and would make a great addition to a cabinet display collection, a Fluorite suite or a Chinese mineral collection. The largest Fluorite measures 2.0 cm. No damage that I can see with the naked eye. PLEASE NOTE: The color in the Fluorites looks better in sunlight, as you can see more of a blue tone that doesn't show up as much in indoor lighting. Valued at $2,400.
