Fluorite (gemmy ''phantom'' crystals) on Quartz

Item Description

This piece is an attractive miniature sized specimen featuring a several, sharp, highly lustrous, very gemmy, cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 1.1 cm on edge, showing pleasant internal "phantoms" when backlit, and a mixture of various purple hues, aesthetically sitting on Quartz. Very good quality all over, no major damage, and just beautiful in person. From a find circa 2005 at this incredible specimen-producing mine. Yaogangxian will go down as one of the most important localities in the modern era of Chinese mineral production.
